Bouldering in Berlin

A nice capital tot save for last: Berlin with multiple bouldering gyms and a great new year's party. We went climbing at Bouldergarden, as it was close to our accommodation and announced tot be open during the weihnacht (holiday times). Yes: there were plenty of options to climb or boulder here: Ostbloc, Subbloc, Berta Bloc, and one we also visited Bright Site. I wish we were in Berlin more often!

Bouldergarden is nicely constructed, on the ground floor there is the first boulder area, lead climbing area, and kids playground, plus in theorie back the sauna. On the second level another boulder area with top out, on the third level the training room and changing rooms. A Nivea atmosphere!

Climbing here was a bit of a challenge: there are only 5 levels, not linked tot font or v scale. A sixth colour is a mix is any of the 5 levels. The colour correspond to the card attached to the start holds, rather than the colour of the holds. Tricky.

The routes are diverse and fun, a good and complete bouldering gym in Berlin!
